Jack Frank Kamps enlisted in the military in the Army & he was in WORLD WAR II & the beginning of the

Korean War. He was discharged with an Hononary discharge & stationed in Germany. My Father was

always helping in the Veterans Of Foreign Wars & did a lot of the breakfasts for them & so well known

& loved by many. He worked for the Port Of Aberdeen for many years & ahead of the Maintenance

Department where they repaired big lumberjack machines. They had the biggest party they ever had

during his Retirement at the Port Of Aberdeen & they made him a huge toy replica of a lumber jack which

was one of a kind he was so giving & so well known by many. He was also President of the Lyons Club

& gave to many people & helped them with glasses & other special needs. My Father was a good man

& he gave every year like clockwork. . . .to the Paralyzed Veterans program & for many years & now I

give to them in memory of my Father. My Dad passed away from fighting Lymphoma Cancer which he

had for 9 long years & in the end he lost the fight & died July 8, 2009 at 3:30 & raised his hand off his

walker as if he was touching an Angel in the misty haze & sadly he died & had collapsed to the floor.

I cherish his military metals & our family misses him so very much. LOVE YOU DAD! Thank YOU for

Serving in the Military of many forces we have in the United States & ” United We Stand “
